ROLE OF THE CARE WORKER IN CARING FOR A PERSON WITH DEMENTIA ensures that learners have an understanding of dementia. It covers ‘person-centred’ care and the development of a care plan. The component also introduces learners to the behaviours and symptoms that can be displayed by an individual with dementia. They will learn about the challenges of these behaviours and will also gain an understanding of different agencies that are available to support those with dementia and their families and friends.

AIM XAMS Platform & Final Online Assessment

Once learners have completed all eLearning modules and have successfully passed the mock assessment, which may be taken more than once, they should be scheduled for an externally set, externally marked online Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) exam. The online multiple-choice exam, accessed via AIM XAMS platform, must be invigilated by an AIM approved invigilator.

There are 30 online multiple choice questions with a time limit of 30 minutes.
