Capital 42-day Kickstart
Capital 42-day Kickstart helps FE colleges retain students at the beginning of the academic year. This is particularly important for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, as they are more likely to withdraw but could benefit most from further education.
10%
Some centres can experience up to a 10% decrease in student numbers during the first 42 days.
How can we help?
Capital Tutorials and AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group have created a bespoke programme designed to give students the tools they need to thrive, while also increasing achievement rates. This focusses on three key areas:
Personal Emotional Resilience
Understanding how to be Successful
Building Confidence & Self-esteem
Each course is 3 credits, meaning they can be completed early in Study Programmes, giving learners a sense of achievement and a confidence boost.
Qualifications
Learners can achieve E3 Award in Employability Skills (Ofqual No. 603/1483/7) (3 credits) simply by completing the Personal Emotional Resilience course.
Alternatively, L1 Award in Employability Skills (Ofqual No. 603/1488/6) (6 credits) can be achieved with components:
L1 Understanding How to be Successful
L1 Building Confidence & Self-esteem
Discounting Policy
