UN World Food Safety Day highlights the importance of preventing illness caused by unsafe food.

‘Bugs & Bacteria' explores simple practical steps we can take to improve food safety and reduce risks, covering:

  • Growing conditions for bugs and bacteria

  • High-risk foods

  • Cross-contamination

Module 2: UN International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking

Prevention is the theme of UN International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking (26 June).

Causes of drug misuse provides a valuable insight into what leads to substance misuse and highlights ways we can reduce risks and support prevention, covering:

  • Reasons why people may start misusing drugs

  • How to try and avoid misusing drugs
